Spectators: 7707 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Tyrese Armenta made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th minute Tyrese Armenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Daley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mercer's Bryan Daley got control of the ball when Reed Giles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Monte Villarreal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anybody Get It's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monte Villarreal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Anybody Get It defense, Neal Chaney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nolan Carter. The Anybody Get It fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nolan Carter should have stopped the shot. Jarrett Evans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryan Daley came out and tried to block the shot, but Jarrett Evans slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Mercer booed when Anybody Get It was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reed Giles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Mercer's goalkeeper Bryan Daley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monte Villarreal. 38 minutes into the game, Clay Lyons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nolan Carter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Darin Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nolan Carter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Mercer were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neal Chaney to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Mercer got a freekick which was hit by Darin Dominguez. Nolan Carter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clay Lyons went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the match, Mercer's goal looked a bit too open when Reed Giles came free, but Bryan Daley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anybody Get It's Tyrese Armenta got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mercer's Clay Lyons got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mercer's goalkeeper Bryan Daley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bryan Daley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reed Giles in the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Tyrese Armenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Daley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Mercer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neal Chaney to maneuver through the defense. Bryan Daley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrese Armenta in the 80th minute of the match. Bryan Daley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reed Giles, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Gary Crum sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bryan Daley skillfully saved the ball. Neal Chaney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Anybody Get It supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mercer's performance. The match ended with a win for Mercer.
