If Rupert Rowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Citizen Fc's Walker Tolbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Rowell in the 9th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Podhale FC got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Rowell. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ramon Huggins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Citizen Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Huggins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilford DeJesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilford DeJesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Huggins in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Schaefer in the 21st minute of play forced Podhale FC's goalkeeper Wilford DeJesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walker Tolbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Robert Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Robert Schmidt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Podhale FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Doug Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, one of Citizen Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Podhale FC. Albert Coats stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Walker Tolbert. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rupert Rowell to make the kick off. Levi Lee might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilford DeJesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Levi Lee ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute, Rupert Rowell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Podhale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Schaefer came free, but Wilford DeJesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Huggins in the 67th minute of play forced Podhale FC's goalkeeper Wilford DeJesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Citizen Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Rupert Rowell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Robert Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Armando Schaefer came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Citizen Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Schaefer couldn't finish the play. Citizen Fc's Walker Tolbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Citizen Fc from getting a goal against them. Robert Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Walker Tolbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Podhale FC. Wilford DeJesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Huggins, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Sung Fox took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilford DeJesus. Podhale FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ramon Huggins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walker Tolbert came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Podhale FC's Doug Blanchard. But to his dismay, Doug Blanchard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 97th minute, Robert Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 99 minutes into the match, Citizen Fc's goalkeeper Walker Tolbert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Schmidt. The Citizen Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Podhale FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
