Santiago Willingham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Huggins in the 5th minute of play. Santiago Willingham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Schaefer in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Charlie Wilkins got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Citizen Fc's Walker Tolbert got control of the ball when Charlie Wilkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Citizen Fc's Walker Tolbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randy Lockwood in the 27th minute of play. Walker Tolbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randy Lockwood in the 30th minute of the match. If Charlie Wilkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randy Lockwood in the 32nd minute of play forced Citizen Fc's goalkeeper Walker Tolbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darnell Valencia during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ramon Huggins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Citizen Fc's goalkeeper Walker Tolbert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charlie Wilkins. Santiago Willingham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Schaefer in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Schaefer to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 57 in the game by Ramon Huggins from a close distance when the talented Santiago Willingham managed to make a qualified save. Pennington Gap's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Citizen Fc defense, Randy Lockwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walker Tolbert. The Citizen Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walker Tolbert should have stopped the shot. After 62 played minutes Citizen Fc got a freekick which was hit by Levi Lee. Weston Mosher's late challenge caught a Citizen Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Weston Mosher helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Schaefer in the 66th minute of play forced Pennington Gap's goalkeeper Santiago Willingham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Armando Schaefer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Willingham. Armando Schaefer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Pennington Gap's Charlie Wilkins got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Huggins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Santiago Willingham made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Huggins got free with Santiago Willingham in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walker Tolbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randy Lockwood in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Citizen Fc's zone, Randy Lockwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walker Tolbert came out of the goal and Randy Lockwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
