Mercer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garrett Bowers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Garrett Bowers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryan Daley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Field, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, A.C. Gamblers's Garrett Bowers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bryan Daley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 39th minute Garrett Bowers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Daley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Neal Chaney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, A.C. Gamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Dominguez came free, but Oscar Larson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neal Chaney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Field to strike the kick off in the second half. Garrett Bowers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Bryan Daley made a huge save. After 58 minutes of play, Mercer's Wesley Herndon made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Larson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bryan Daley made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Garrett Bowers sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute of the match Romeo Bright shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bryan Daley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Garrett Bowers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bryan Daley. Garrett Bowers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. A.C. Gamblers's Oscar Larson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Chaney in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Mercer were awarded a corner. Don Mills went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mercer's corner Don Mills fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oscar Larson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 79th minute, Bryan Hedrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garrett Bowers got free with Bryan Daley in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Reynaldo Field fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Garrett Bowers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wesley Herndon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neal Chaney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Oscar Larson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garrett Bowers succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5.
