Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Neal Chaney made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Mercer's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Parr came free, but Bryan Daley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's Alonso Parr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryan Daley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mercer's zone, Alonso Parr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Daley came out of the goal and Alonso Parr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Herndon made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Darin Dominguez immediately put the ball in play. Alonso Parr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Alonso Parr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonso Parr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alonso Parr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonso Parr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Daley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Mercer got a freekick which was hit by Darin Dominguez. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonso Parr to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Hoffman in the 52nd minute of play forced Mercer's goalkeeper Bryan Daley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rich Tobin struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Bryan Daley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC. In the 56th minute, Rodrigo Craft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Darin Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercer's protests and gave Darin Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Mercer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darin Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Herndon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonso Parr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Daley having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Juan Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Daley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC's Juan Hoffman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryan Daley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonso Parr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Hoffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Daley having to interfere. Mercer succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chesapeake Ranch Estates FC had controlled the match.
