Ignacio Scott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Weaver, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Damien Hobbs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the game, Zachariah Jacobsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mason Wilcox was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Willy Horton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Ste. Genevieve FC got a freekick which was hit by Avery Kerr. 22 minutes in the game, Damien Hobbs fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mason Wilcox having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ste. Genevieve FC defense, Damien Hobbs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mason Wilcox. The Ste. Genevieve FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mason Wilcox should have stopped the shot. Zachariah Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mason Wilcox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Willy Horton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacio Scott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Weaver in the 37th minute of play. Abraham Gibbons's late challenge caught a Ste. Genevieve FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Gibbons helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Abraham Gibbons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ste. Genevieve FC's Lenny Weaver in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lawrenceville District FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ste. Genevieve FC's zone, Damien Hobbs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mason Wilcox came out of the goal and Damien Hobbs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zachariah Jacobsen to strike the kick off in the second half. Lenny Weaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Scott having to interfere. Johnathan Novak kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Lenny Weaver might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacio Scott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lenny Weaver ran back to his position shaking his head. Ignacio Scott made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lenny Weaver sent off a good shot on target. Willy Horton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mason Wilcox stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachariah Jacobsen's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Ste. Genevieve FC's Willy Horton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. A collision led to Ste. Genevieve FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vince Yates hit a great ball. If Damien Hobbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariah Jacobsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Zachariah Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lawrenceville District FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariah Jacobsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
