The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lawrence Robinson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Elton Mitchell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lawrence Robinson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Asher Russell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ronald Barrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Perry Emerson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Team Whiskey's Hugo Donaldson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 41st minute, Asher Russell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronald Barrow. The goal made the score 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Asher Russell made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Team Whiskey's Alex Maddox shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronald Barrow came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Team Whiskey reached it. Ronald Barrow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asher Russell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA Thunder's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Donaldson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mario Winston charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Winston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lawrence Robinson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elton Mitchell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 78 minute of play. Asher Russell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Barrow having to interfere.
