Spectators: 5958 (Terracing: 5329, Seating: 625, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Asher Russell took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Team Whiskey's zone, Octavio Little stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrence Robinson came out of the goal and Octavio Little tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Winston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S & N Fairway FC's Marcellus Whitt got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of S & N Fairway FC booed when Team Whiskey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Donaldson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Octavio Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuan Hirsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Grant in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Mario Winston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Whiskey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Winston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rashad Dickens kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Octavio Little struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Lawrence Robinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S & N Fairway FC. 36 minutes into the game, Marcellus Whitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lawrence Robinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavio Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Asher Russell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to S & N Fairway FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Garry Cormier hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in S & N Fairway FC's zone, Asher Russell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Little made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, S & N Fairway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thaddeus Esquivel to maneuver through the defense. Asher Russell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuan Hirsch having to interfere. If Octavio Little had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63rd play minutes Octavio Little shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Lawrence Robinson and just under the crossbar into goal. Octavio Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S & N Fairway FC's Tuan Hirsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asher Russell in the 69th minute of play. Ward Crandall kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 played minutes S & N Fairway FC got a freekick which was hit by Stanford Love. After 86 played minutes S & N Fairway FC got a freekick which was hit by Garry Cormier. S & N Fairway FC's Tuan Hirsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asher Russell in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Asher Russell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team Whiskey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Octavio Little recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Team Whiskey's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
