When Angelo Addison fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winners FC's protests and gave Angelo Addison a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Winners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Addison to maneuver through the defense. Brant Merritt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Josh Addison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant Merritt in the 14th minute of play forced Winners FC's goalkeeper Josh Addison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Winners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Sneed to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Winners FC's zone, Brant Merritt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josh Addison came out of the goal and Brant Merritt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A.J. Rubin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josh Addison made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when A.J. Rubin sent off a good shot on target. Winners FC's Josh Addison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Winners FC from getting a goal against them. Winners FC's Josh Addison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Merritt in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brant Merritt in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josh Addison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brant Merritt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Josh Addison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Addison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Courtney kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Brant Merritt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedict Sneed hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Winners FC's Josh Addison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Merritt in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Azzurri's A.J. Rubin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josh Addison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Winners FC's Gregorio Livingston got a free kick in the 71st minute. If A.J. Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Winners FC's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. Rubin came free, but Josh Addison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. Rubin might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josh Addison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A.J. Rubin ran back to his position shaking his head. If A.J. Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Azzurri's A.J. Rubin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josh Addison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio McCray charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio McCray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Brant Merritt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josh Addison was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Josh Addison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Merritt in the 88th minute of play. Brant Merritt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Addison having to interfere. Antonio McCray was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th match minute, Winners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio McCray to maneuver through the defense. Josh Addison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from A.J. Rubin in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Azzurri fully deserved thier win.
