The supporters of Azzurri booed when Lawrenceville District FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Gibbons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lawrenceville District FC's Ignacio Scott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Merritt in the 11th minute of play. Enrique Diamond struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ignacio Scott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azzurri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant Merritt in the 17th minute of play forced Lawrenceville District FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Scott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brant Merritt's late challenge caught a Lawrenceville District FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Scott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tyrone Blanton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zachariah Jacobsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tad Stiles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tad Stiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariah Jacobsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Randall Cabourne struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Tad Stiles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lawrenceville District FC. Norbert Cardwell charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Cardwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Norbert Cardwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tad Stiles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariah Jacobsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zachariah Jacobsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Stiles having to interfere. Emanuel Solis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignacio Scott. Lawrenceville District FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 90 minutes, Tyrese Ash mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lawrenceville District FC and the Azzurri players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Lawrenceville District FC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrese Ash. In the 92nd minute, Damien Hobbs made a precise shot to the right of Tad Stiles. Azzurri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Azzurri eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
