Spectators: 7634 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zachariah Jacobsen took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ste. Genevieve FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariah Jacobsen came free, but Mason Wilcox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mason Wilcox stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachariah Jacobsen's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Damien Hobbs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mason Wilcox was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zachariah Jacobsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mason Wilcox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariah Jacobsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachariah Jacobsen couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Willy Horton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ignacio Scott. The goal made the score 1-1. Willy Horton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Scott having to interfere. Ignacio Scott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Horton in the 31st minute of the match. Lenny Weaver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lawrenceville District FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ernesto Stearns hit a great ball. Ste. Genevieve FC's Lonnie Phelps shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ignacio Scott but with some difficulty. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a little luck, Ste. Genevieve FC's Mason Wilcox got control of the ball when Damien Hobbs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damien Hobbs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zachariah Jacobsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mason Wilcox. That made the score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 66th minute, but Mason Wilcox got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ste. Genevieve FC hanging dry this time. Mason Wilcox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariah Jacobsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lawrenceville District FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Scott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Ste. Genevieve FC's Mason Wilcox got control of the ball when Damien Hobbs tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Lenny Weaver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ste. Genevieve FC's Willy Horton got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Damien Hobbs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lawrenceville District FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damien Hobbs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mason Wilcox breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ste. Genevieve FC's zone, Damien Hobbs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mason Wilcox came out of the goal and Damien Hobbs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 minutes of play, Ste. Genevieve FC's Lenny Weaver made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Scott was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
