Tyson Blair made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Yost in the 9th minute of play. Stefan Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudolph Ragsdale went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Green FC's Tyson Blair played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shannon Buddle in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Carlos Yost notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Green FC's Tyson Blair. Tyson Blair was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Rigoberto Cervantes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Green FC's David Keen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stefan Duarte but with some difficulty. Oswaldo Orlinsky struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Stefan Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green FC. Rigoberto Cervantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Duarte having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Orlinsky had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Duarte. Tuborg United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Orlinsky was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Oswaldo Orlinsky might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oswaldo Orlinsky ran back to his position shaking his head. Oswaldo Orlinsky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Green FC booed when Tuborg United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Groves didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Cervantes was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Green FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edmund Callahan hit a great ball. Shannon Buddle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Tyson Blair made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Jessie Lacey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuborg United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green FC the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Tuborg United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessie Lacey to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Orlinsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stefan Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Cervantes couldn't finish the play. The referee gave Green FC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saul Coffman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tuborg United FC's Stefan Duarte. 3-1. Green FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
