In the 4th match minute, Iselin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominic Lynn to maneuver through the defense. Jay McQueen charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 8th minute of the match Terrence Mabry sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ty Potts skillfully saved the ball. Craig Zamora was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Terrence Mabry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinton's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence Mabry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ty Potts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ty Potts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro DeJesus in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Lanny Gibbons notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Iselin AFC's Ty Potts. Ty Potts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro DeJesus in the 22nd minute of play forced Iselin AFC's goalkeeper Ty Potts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Sinton's goalkeeper Vincent Butler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Carrasco. Ty Potts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro DeJesus in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Alejandro DeJesus notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Iselin AFC's Ty Potts. Ty Potts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iselin AFC's Ty Potts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orville Davila in the 37th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Carrasco made a kick off. Grant Jarrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincent Butler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Carrasco in the 54th minute of the match. Sinton's Vincent Butler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Carrasco in the 56th minute of play. Lanny Gibbons hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Sinton's Jess Wooten shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ty Potts but with some difficulty. Ty Potts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro DeJesus in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Alejandro DeJesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Potts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Claudio Carrasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Grant Jarrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ty Potts was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Lanny Gibbons capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lanny Gibbons really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Lanny Gibbons kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ty Potts. That made the score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. Ty Potts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro DeJesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Orville Davila's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ty Potts firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute Alejandro DeJesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Potts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro DeJesus in the 96th minute of play forced Iselin AFC's goalkeeper Ty Potts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
