Tuborg United FC's Stefan Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Cartwright in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tuborg United FC's Carlos Groves got a free kick in the 6th minute. Malcolm Sumner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Stefan Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sammy Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicago Fisher Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Cartwright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Yost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Carlos Yost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Calderwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tuborg United FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carlos Groves hit a great ball. Tuborg United FC's Stefan Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Cartwright in the 36th minute of play. Sammy Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Kris Hoffman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Chicago Fisher Cats's Malcolm Sumner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Carlos Yost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Malcolm Sumner made the kick off in the second half. When Shannon Buddle came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tuborg United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shannon Buddle couldn't finish the play. Chicago Fisher Cats's Henry Calderwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Yost in the 56th minute of play. Malcolm Sumner struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Stefan Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicago Fisher Cats. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Sumner in the 62nd minute of play forced Tuborg United FC's goalkeeper Stefan Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tuborg United FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Malcolm Sumner 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. In the 70th match minute, Tuborg United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Hoffman to maneuver through the defense. Tuborg United FC's Stefan Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Sumner in the 71st minute of play. When Carlos Yost came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Tuborg United FC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Crews in the 80th minute of play forced Tuborg United FC's goalkeeper Stefan Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicago Fisher Cats's Malcolm Sumner got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Chicago Fisher Cats's Malcolm Sumner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stefan Duarte. Stefan Duarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tuborg United FC's zone, Sammy Cartwright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Duarte came out of the goal and Sammy Cartwright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danny Chappelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Duarte having to interfere. When the match was over Chicago Fisher Cats could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tuborg United FC throughout the match.
