Taylor Mill's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavier McCullough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Wilton Ames was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taylor Mill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iselin AFC the free kick. Wilton Ames kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taylor Mill's goalkeeper Denver Hahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xavier McCullough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Denver Hahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denver Hahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier McCullough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Stefan Messer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudio Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Xavier McCullough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denver Hahn was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavier McCullough to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sydney Marion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ty Potts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 55 minutes into the match, Benedict Hickey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ty Potts. Iselin AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedict Hickey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Benedict Hickey was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Taylor Mill's Benedict Hickey got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Xavier McCullough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier McCullough who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Denver Hahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Denver Hahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier McCullough in the 70th minute of play. Claudio Carrasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denver Hahn having to interfere. Claudio Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denver Hahn came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Iselin AFC's Claudio Carrasco. But to his dismay, Claudio Carrasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ty Potts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufus McIntyre in the 87th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adam Guevara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ty Potts was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Taylor Mill's zone, Claudio Carrasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denver Hahn came out of the goal and Claudio Carrasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Xavier McCullough got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Carrasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denver Hahn having to interfere. The Taylor Mill fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Iselin AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
