Junior Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junior Boston kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ovidio Birjaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristan Ham in the 12th minute. Tristan Ham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ovidio Birjaio made a huge save. Fletcher Moreland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Merle Hargrove. Warrensville Heights's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brendan Oliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Warrensville Heights's Tristan Ham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Birjaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tristan Ham in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidio Birjaio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Merle Hargrove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Oliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes, Golden Striker FC's Fletcher Moreland shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Merle Hargrove came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Striker FC reached it. In the 39th minute Golden Striker FC were awarded a corner. Oscar Pelletier went to the cornerflag to take it. Golden Striker FC's Ovidio Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Simmons in the 45th minute of play. Ovidio Birjaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alistair Holder in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute, Fletcher Moreland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Golden Striker FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Golden Striker FC's Oscar Pelletier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd match minute, Golden Striker FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Boston to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Warrensville Heights's Casper Simmons sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Birjaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, Golden Striker FC's Oscar Pelletier made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merle Hargrove was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Golden Striker FC's Emanuel Raines got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Merle Hargrove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Darron Manley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Striker FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darron Manley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 82 in the game by Oscar Pelletier from a close distance when the talented Merle Hargrove managed to make a qualified save. Warrensville Heights's players were relieved. When Tristan Ham came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Warrensville Heights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Ham couldn't finish the play. With his leg Merle Hargrove managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Golden Striker FC's Oscar Pelletier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 92 minutes, Brendan Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Striker FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendan Oliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidio Birjaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Ham in the 94th minute of the match. Ovidio Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Simmons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Golden Striker FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Warrensville Heights throughout the match.
