Tuborg United FC's Stefan Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Tuborg United FC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Tuborg United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier McCullough came free, but Stefan Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier McCullough in the 20th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Yost stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iselin AFC's Ty Potts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Yost in the 52nd minute of play. Carlos Groves came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ty Potts could save by the left post. Claudio Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Groves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ty Potts came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Groves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 59th minute. Shannon Buddle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ty Potts made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Shannon Buddle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ty Potts. Iselin AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shannon Buddle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Craig Zamora took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefan Duarte. Tuborg United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Shannon Buddle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ty Potts was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Xavier McCullough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Kris Hoffman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuborg United FC and the Iselin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Tuborg United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Hoffman to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Iselin AFC's goalkeeper Ty Potts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shannon Buddle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Hoffman in the 81st minute of play forced Iselin AFC's goalkeeper Ty Potts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Tuborg United FC's Carlos Yost ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ty Potts. Ty Potts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Iselin AFC's Claudio Carrasco got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Yost was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shannon Buddle got free with Ty Potts in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Iselin AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tuborg United FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
