In the 5th minute, DeAngelo McFadden made a precise shot to the right of Henry Calderwood. Chicago Fisher Cats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bradly Hawthorne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Sumner, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Sammy Cartwright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bradly Hawthorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chicago Fisher Cats booed when Missouri City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cole Harrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Calderwood came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Missouri City AFC's Oliver Tolbert. But to his dismay, Oliver Tolbert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Henry Calderwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Tolbert in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Chicago Fisher Cats's Malcolm Sumner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Missouri City AFC's goalkeeper Bradly Hawthorne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Sumner in the 41st minute of play forced Missouri City AFC's goalkeeper Bradly Hawthorne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Malcolm Sumner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradly Hawthorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Malcolm Sumner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when DeAngelo McFadden made the kick off in the second half. Chicago Fisher Cats's Sammy Cartwright got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sammy Cartwright charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sammy Cartwright the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chicago Fisher Cats getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sammy Cartwright hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Russell Cross during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Chicago Fisher Cats:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Missouri City AFC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donald Montgomery, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chicago Fisher Cats's Henry Calderwood. 2-3. Bradly Hawthorne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malcolm Sumner's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 66 played minutes Missouri City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cole Harrell. DeAngelo McFadden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcolm Sumner took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bradly Hawthorne. Bradly Hawthorne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 85 minutes into the match, Missouri City AFC's Oliver Tolbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Calderwood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, DeAngelo McFadden took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Henry Calderwood to make any attempt to save it. Bradly Hawthorne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Sumner went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
