After a rather tough play, Warrensville Heights's Alistair Holder got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Warrensville Heights getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Truman May hit a great ball. Alistair Holder's late challenge caught a Green FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alistair Holder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Alistair Holder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Saul Coffman fired a really elegant long shot, but Merle Hargrove threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Oswaldo Orlinsky in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Merle Hargrove, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Gilberto Post came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Green FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Post couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Oswaldo Orlinsky fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Merle Hargrove, passed just outside the right post. Saul Coffman's late challenge caught a Warrensville Heights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Coffman helped the player get up and apologised. Saul Coffman kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Casper Simmons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyson Blair having to interfere. Merle Hargrove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Orlinsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A hard shot 36 in the game by Oswaldo Orlinsky from a close distance when the talented Merle Hargrove managed to make a qualified save. Warrensville Heights's players were relieved. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Warrensville Heights:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Green FC:s goal. Oswaldo Orlinsky struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Merle Hargrove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Orlinsky made the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo Orlinsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vince Whitehead kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Casper Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tyson Blair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Warrensville Heights's zone, Edmund Callahan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merle Hargrove came out of the goal and Edmund Callahan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oswaldo Orlinsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Merle Hargrove read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Tristan Ham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyson Blair having to interfere. Casper Simmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oswaldo Orlinsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolph Ragsdale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Merle Hargrove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merle Hargrove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Orlinsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Oswaldo Orlinsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oswaldo Orlinsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Merle Hargrove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Green FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
