Spectators: 7682 (Terracing: 5762, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. DeAngelo McFadden started the match with the kick off. Claudio Carrasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Bradly Hawthorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cole Harrell fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Missouri City AFC's protests and gave Cole Harrell a yellow card for diving instead. Deshawn Lunsford hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Donald Montgomery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Carrasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bradly Hawthorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Xavier McCullough came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Iselin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier McCullough couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Iselin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Lynn. In the 18th match minute, Missouri City AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Tolbert to maneuver through the defense. Xavier McCullough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ty Potts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cole Harrell in the 26th minute of play. Bradly Hawthorne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier McCullough, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. During the 30th minute of the match Cole Harrell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cole Harrell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 31 played minutes Missouri City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cole Harrell. Iselin AFC's Xavier McCullough got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Xavier McCullough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradly Hawthorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Iselin AFC booed when Missouri City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeAngelo McFadden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Missouri City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier McCullough came free, but Bradly Hawthorne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavier McCullough to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, DeAngelo McFadden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Missouri City AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iselin AFC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Missouri City AFC got a freekick which was hit by DeAngelo McFadden. 59 minutes into the match, Iselin AFC's Xavier McCullough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bradly Hawthorne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute Iselin AFC were awarded a corner. Derick McKenna went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Missouri City AFC's goalie and right to Grant Jarrett. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Missouri City AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 63rd minute Xavier McCullough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradly Hawthorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominic Lynn during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Missouri City AFC booed when Iselin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Lynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Donald Montgomery came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Missouri City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Montgomery couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Iselin AFC's Xavier McCullough slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bradly Hawthorne. That made the score 0-1 after 70 minutes of play. In the 81st minute, Claudio Carrasco made a precise shot to the right of Bradly Hawthorne. Missouri City AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jay McQueen hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Iselin AFC's Xavier McCullough dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Claudio Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier McCullough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bradly Hawthorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Missouri City AFC's zone, Claudio Carrasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradly Hawthorne came out of the goal and Claudio Carrasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
