Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5776, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Casper Simmons made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Claudio Carrasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Merle Hargrove. Claudio Carrasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Warrensville Heights's Merle Hargrove got control of the ball when Claudio Carrasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ty Potts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto McGraw, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Grant Jarrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merle Hargrove made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Claudio Carrasco sent off a good shot on target. Iselin AFC's Ty Potts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto McGraw in the 23rd minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Xavier McCullough recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Merle Hargrove. Xavier McCullough showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Iselin AFC's Xavier McCullough ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Merle Hargrove. Merle Hargrove yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Iselin AFC's Ty Potts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Ham in the 42nd minute of play. Ty Potts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alistair Holder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Iselin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Lynn. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Claudio Carrasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Merle Hargrove. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Carrasco ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Warrensville Heights defense, Xavier McCullough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merle Hargrove. The Warrensville Heights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merle Hargrove should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Warrensville Heights getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Adalberto McGraw hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier McCullough in the 61st minute of play forced Warrensville Heights's goalkeeper Merle Hargrove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merle Hargrove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier McCullough, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Claudio Carrasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Merle Hargrove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Warrensville Heights's zone, Xavier McCullough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merle Hargrove came out of the goal and Xavier McCullough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Casper Simmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Potts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Iselin AFC's Ty Potts got control of the ball when Tristan Ham tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alistair Holder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ty Potts. That made the score 4-2 in the 77 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Warrensville Heights's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Carrasco came free, but Merle Hargrove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Simmons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ty Potts having to make a save. With a little luck, Iselin AFC's Ty Potts got control of the ball when Tristan Ham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merle Hargrove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier McCullough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Tristan Ham made a precise shot to the right of Ty Potts. Iselin AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. In the 94th minute of the match Deshawn Lunsford sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Merle Hargrove skillfully saved the ball. Claudio Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Iselin AFC had won after a very even match.
