Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sydney Marion took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Saul Romo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Striker FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taylor Mill the free kick. In the 9th minute, Saul Romo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Brendan Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Wilton Ames shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Birjaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brendan Oliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Pelletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Oscar Pelletier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Denver Hahn, 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Golden Striker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Marion came free, but Ovidio Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Golden Striker FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Raines. A collision led to Golden Striker FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rashad Andrews hit a great ball. Rufus McIntyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Golden Striker FC's Junior Boston got a free kick in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Pelletier to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Taylor Mill defense, Oscar Pelletier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denver Hahn. The Taylor Mill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denver Hahn should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Taylor Mill's Ovidio Birjaio threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sydney Marion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Golden Striker FC's Ovidio Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Marion in the 63rd minute of play. Ovidio Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Marion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Rufus McIntyre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Birjaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ovidio Birjaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Marion in the 75th minute of play. Denver Hahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Pelletier's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 79 played minutes Taylor Mill got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Ames. Darron Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Taylor Mill's zone, Junior Boston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denver Hahn came out of the goal and Junior Boston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brendan Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Taylor Mill getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Benedict Hickey hit a great ball. Golden Striker FC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Taylor Mill's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oscar Pelletier took the corner. Junior Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Denver Hahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Junior Boston came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Golden Striker FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Junior Boston couldn't finish the play. Golden Striker FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
