Spectators: 7729 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejandro DeJesus kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sinton's zone, Sammy Cartwright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Butler came out of the goal and Sammy Cartwright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Orville Davila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Orville Davila fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Alejandro DeJesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chicago Fisher Cats's Will Crews got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alejandro DeJesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinton's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro DeJesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Calderwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chicago Fisher Cats's Malcolm Sumner got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sammy Cartwright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Butler having to make a save. Alejandro DeJesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Calderwood. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro DeJesus ran back to his position shaking his head. When Chicago Fisher Cats's Malcolm Sumner in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sinton's goalie prevented a goal. Vincent Butler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Sumner, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Chicago Fisher Cats booed when Sinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lanny Gibbons didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sammy Cartwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Malcolm Sumner put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vincent Butler. Alejandro DeJesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Henry Calderwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sinton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chicago Fisher Cats were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Malcolm Sumner made the kick off in the second half. Henry Calderwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orville Davila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orville Davila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinton's Vincent Butler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Sinton from getting a goal against them. Sinton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Malcolm Sumner scored to the left of an out of position Vincent Butler, making the score, 0-2. 91 minutes into the match, Chicago Fisher Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro DeJesus came free, but Henry Calderwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sinton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chicago Fisher Cats's performance. The match ended with a win for Chicago Fisher Cats.
