Sydney Marion started the match with the kick off. Alejandro DeJesus was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Taylor Mill's Denver Hahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro DeJesus in the 6th minute of play. Orville Davila struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Denver Hahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinton. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Orville Davila got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Orville Davila came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Denver Hahn could save by the left post. Lanny Gibbons charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lanny Gibbons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Lanny Gibbons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Butler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney Marion went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Aldo Willoughby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taylor Mill's goalkeeper Denver Hahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rufus McIntyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vincent Butler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Marion might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Butler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sydney Marion ran back to his position shaking his head. During the 36th minute of the match Lanny Gibbons completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lanny Gibbons a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sydney Marion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Butler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Marion, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orville Davila made a kick off. Orville Davila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denver Hahn having to make a save. If Rufus McIntyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Marion struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Vincent Butler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taylor Mill. Rufus McIntyre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Vincent Butler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Denver Hahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orville Davila in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Wilber Darden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufus McIntyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vincent Butler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Orville Davila came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sinton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orville Davila couldn't finish the play. If Orville Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Rufus McIntyre made a precise shot to the right of Vincent Butler. Sinton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The Taylor Mill supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Taylor Mill would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
