Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Iselin AFC's Xavier McCullough started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Del Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Potts having to interfere. In the 5thth minute of the game Claudio Carrasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Striker FC's Ovidio Birjaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iselin AFC's Ty Potts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Iselin AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Del Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ty Potts was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Iselin AFC's Dominic Lynn got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Iselin AFC defense, Del Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ty Potts. The Iselin AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ty Potts should have stopped the shot. In the 14th match minute, Golden Striker FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darron Manley to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Derick McKenna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Birjaio skillfully saved the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Iselin AFC's goalkeeper Ty Potts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Del Rios. Ovidio Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Carrasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Brendan Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ty Potts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Iselin AFC's Ty Potts got control of the ball when Del Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iselin AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Brendan Oliver scored to the left of an out of position Ty Potts, making the score, 2-0. Ovidio Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Jarrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier McCullough in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Birjaio saved Golden Striker FC from getting behind. A collision led to Iselin AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Grant Jarrett hit a great ball. Brendan Oliver hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Golden Striker FC defense, Xavier McCullough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Birjaio. The Golden Striker FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Birjaio should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Del Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ty Potts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Del Rios's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Golden Striker FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Birjaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Carrasco. After a defensive mix-up in Iselin AFC's zone, Brendan Oliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ty Potts came out of the goal and Brendan Oliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Iselin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Del Rios came free, but Ty Potts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Del Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Potts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ty Potts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Del Rios in the 70th minute of play. Brendan Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 78th minute Xavier McCullough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Birjaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ty Potts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Del Rios in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Golden Striker FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fletcher Moreland hit a great ball. Golden Striker FC's Ovidio Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier McCullough in the 89th minute of play. Ty Potts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashad Andrews, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Del Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Raines kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Golden Striker FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
