Tanner Tripp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Hyatt having to interfere. In the 14th minute Rob Goddard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walker Babcock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Terrance Garza from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Walker Babcock's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalala FC's goalkeeper Jesus Hyatt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. D.J. Allred's late challenge caught a Kalala FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. D.J. Allred helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Boston Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Terrell Tatum. With a little luck, Boston Celtics's Walker Babcock got control of the ball when Reynaldo McDonough tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Hyatt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tanner Tripp's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes Boston Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Greene. After having played for 36 minutes, Tanner Tripp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boston Celtics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanner Tripp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th match minute, Kalala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Norman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Kalala FC defense, Tanner Tripp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Hyatt. The Kalala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Hyatt should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd match minute, Kalala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamel Bentley to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd match minute, Boston Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warner Jensen to maneuver through the defense. Walker Babcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo McDonough in the 65th minute of play. After 73 minutes, Zane Good mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boston Celtics and the Kalala FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Zane Good hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Boston Celtics's zone, Rob Goddard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walker Babcock came out of the goal and Rob Goddard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes, Kalala FC's Terrance Garza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walker Babcock came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kalala FC reached it. Walker Babcock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo McDonough in the 87th minute of the match. If Tanner Tripp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Norman got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Kalala FC's Peter Norman got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jesus Hyatt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Terrell Tatum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play.
