After having played for 24 minutes, Willie Browne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devoto Shores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willie Browne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Burien AFC's zone, Willie Browne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bronson Harris came out of the goal and Willie Browne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Cason Egan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes of play, Devoto Shores FC's Willie Browne made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bronson Harris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Weldon Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bronson Harris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Willie Browne made a precise shot to the right of Bronson Harris. Burien AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Weldon Henry made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dennis Grimes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Burien AFC's Arnoldo Goss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trevor Marin. That made the score 3-1 after 61 minutes of play. Trevor Marin stood somewhat misplaced when Arnoldo Goss came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 67 minute. If Raul Swenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willie Browne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bronson Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weldon Henry succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Devoto Shores FC's Trevor Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Goss in the 79th minute of play. Trevor Marin was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Arnoldo Goss capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnoldo Goss really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. Bronson Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willie Browne in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Devoto Shores FC's Sydney Whitlock got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Jorge Lawrence sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Devoto Shores FC's Trevor Marin didn't even have to move. Trevor Marin made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Elias Dobbins sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Devoto Shores FC had won after a very even match.
