With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walker Babcock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Martin Hinds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Terrell Tatum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Martin Hinds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walker Babcock was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Tanner Tripp could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Lionel Goodwin however easily saved by the left post. Lionel Goodwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanner Tripp in the 27th minute of play. Walker Babcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Hinds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Boston Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Woody Tang came free, but Walker Babcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanner Tripp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lionel Goodwin came out and tried to block the shot, but Tanner Tripp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Hinds in the 47th minute of play forced Boston Celtics's goalkeeper Walker Babcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walker Babcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Hinds, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tanner Tripp's late challenge caught a Stallions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tanner Tripp helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boston Celtics getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tanner Tripp hit a great ball. Walker Babcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Hinds in the 72nd minute of play. Rickey Deering fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 87th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Woody Tang got free with Walker Babcock in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Terrell Tatum hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Walker Babcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Hinds, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
