Spectators: 7501 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnoldo Goss got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Nice's Donny Stiles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bronson Harris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Donny Stiles notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Burien AFC's Bronson Harris. Bronson Harris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the match, Burien AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Stiles came free, but Bronson Harris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bronson Harris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leland Puckett in the 29th minute of play. Bronson Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Stiles in the 38th minute of the match. Leland Puckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donny Stiles was the one to do the kick off. If Donny Stiles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leland Puckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Nice's C.J. Parish got a free kick in the 69th minute. Blair Day's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bronson Harris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Elias Dobbins took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Al Blackwell. Al Blackwell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 86th minute, Donny Stiles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes, Norbert Cameron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burien AFC and the Nice players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Burien AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Bronson Harris, was totally fooled by Nice's Donny Stiles, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Donny Stiles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leland Puckett struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Bronson Harris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nice. Nice played a much better game than Burien AFC and deserved their victory. The Burien AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
