Woody Tang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Stallions FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reynaldo McDonough fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute, Peter Norman had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Yong Esparza's late challenge caught a Kalala FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yong Esparza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Stallions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yong Esparza to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Dominique Singletary from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Lionel Goodwin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Reynaldo McDonough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Hinds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo McDonough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Woody Tang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Kalala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Hinds came free, but Jesus Hyatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalala FC's Jesus Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Hinds in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Hinds in the 45th minute of play forced Kalala FC's goalkeeper Jesus Hyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Hyatt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Hinds's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Hinds to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Stallions FC's Yong Esparza got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Rob Goddard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Hinds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Hyatt having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stallions FC's Ryan Carey got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Reynaldo McDonough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo McDonough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lionel Goodwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesus Hyatt made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Woody Tang sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Hyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Hinds, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Kalala FC's Reynaldo McDonough got a free kick in the 78th minute. Martin Hinds blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Hyatt having to make a save. Martin Hinds struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jesus Hyatt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stallions FC. A collision led to Kalala FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Willie Hollingsworth hit a great ball. If Woody Tang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Hinds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kalala FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Martin Hinds 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. After 95 minutes of play, Stallions FC's Martin Hinds made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Hyatt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Stallions FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
