Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4900, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergio Joseph took the kick off in the first half of the match. Curt Lang hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, Devoto Shores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Grimes to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Young Delarosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devoto Shores FC's Trevor Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Devoto Shores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Swenson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sergio Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEXASFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trevor Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Young Delarosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TEXASFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sergio Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes, TEXASFC's Tod Barton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trevor Marin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TEXASFC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Devoto Shores FC's Weldon Henry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominic Barber. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. Willie Browne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dominic Barber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Weldon Henry was the one to do the kick off. Weldon Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willie Browne in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominic Barber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dominic Barber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willie Browne, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, TEXASFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael McKnight to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Devoto Shores FC's Sydney Whitlock broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Young Delarosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Trevor Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devoto Shores FC's Trevor Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Joseph in the 70th minute of play. When TEXASFC's Sergio Joseph in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Devoto Shores FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Devoto Shores FC's Dennis Grimes got a free kick in the 74th minute. A hard shot 75 in the game by Young Delarosa from a close distance when the talented Trevor Marin managed to make a qualified save. Devoto Shores FC's players were relieved. Willie Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Willie Browne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Barber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to TEXASFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Romeo Merchant hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Sergio Joseph fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Trevor Marin, passed just outside the right post. Devoto Shores FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
