Kalala FC's Jesus Hyatt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sean Connelly charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sean Connelly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Jennings AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Connelly. 19 minutes into the match, Jennings AFC's Graig Watson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Hyatt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesus Hyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graig Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jesus Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korey Lucas in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Jennings AFC's Graig Watson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Hyatt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Korey Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jesus Hyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jennings AFC's Korey Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Kalala FC got a freekick which was hit by Willie Hollingsworth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graig Watson in the 39th minute of play forced Kalala FC's goalkeeper Jesus Hyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Goddard in the 43rd minute of play forced Jennings AFC's goalkeeper Brock Ochoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Graig Watson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Hyatt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Kalala FC's Jesus Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korey Lucas in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play Jennings AFC's Sean Connelly was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Jennings AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sean Connelly hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match, Genaro Locke got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jesus Hyatt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jesus Hyatt made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Graig Watson sent off a good shot on target. Graig Watson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Singletary's late challenge caught a Jennings AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominique Singletary helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Kalala FC's Jesus Hyatt got control of the ball when Genaro Locke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brock Ochoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo McDonough in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalala FC's goalkeeper Jesus Hyatt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jesus Hyatt made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Graig Watson sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Hyatt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Graig Watson in the 95th minute. Brock Ochoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Goddard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Jennings AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kalala FC.
