Jesus Hyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Sergio Joseph blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Hyatt having to make a save. TEXASFC's Dominic Barber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Goddard in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th of the match, Rob Goddard tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dominic Barber got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Reynaldo McDonough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Peter Norman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalala FC and the TEXASFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jamel Bentley was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. Jesus Hyatt went to the wrong direction when Tod Barton was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
