Alan Clement showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dustin Nolan in the 15th minute of the match. Rochester City's Alan Clement played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dustin Nolan in the 17th minute of play. Brad Werner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Clement having to make a save. Alan Clement took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad Werner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dustin Nolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Clement made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dustin Nolan in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brad Werner in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Clement saved Rochester City from getting behind. Rochester City's Isidro Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, East Dubuque's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kirkpatrick came free, but Claudio Kendrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. East Dubuque's Claudio Kendrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save East Dubuque from getting a goal against them. Mike Franks's late challenge caught a Rochester City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mike Franks helped the player get up and apologised. When Christian Kirkpatrick came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Rochester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Kirkpatrick couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rochester City's goalkeeper Alan Clement, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rochester City's zone, Dustin Nolan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Clement came out of the goal and Dustin Nolan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rochester City's Christian Kirkpatrick got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
