Spectators: 7816 (Terracing: 5864, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brandon Tripp started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Brandon Tripp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rupert Stover was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brandon Tripp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Stover having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Longview FC's goalkeeper Collin Escobar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darell Newman. If Brandon Tripp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Hector Domenec made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Miami Rams's Rupert Stover tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Miami Rams's goalkeeper Rupert Stover, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherman Waite in the 23rd minute of play forced Miami Rams's goalkeeper Rupert Stover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Longview FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match, Darell Newman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Collin Escobar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Miami Rams's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Tripp came free, but Rupert Stover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Hector Domenec made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Miami Rams's Rupert Stover tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Longview FC's Erik Holley got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Longview FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hal Reese to strike the kick off in the second half. Miami Rams's Rupert Stover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Tripp in the 52nd minute of play. Austin Katz charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Austin Katz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Austin Katz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Miami Rams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Castillo to maneuver through the defense. Rupert Stover made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Tripp in the 67th minute of play. Hector Domenec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Stefan Crow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Collin Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rupert Stover took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Tripp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Brandon Tripp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Stover saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Domenec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Rupert Stover made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Miami Rams's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Tripp came free, but Rupert Stover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
