A collision led to East Dubuque getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ty Rhoades hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, TE Connectivity team's Claudio Kendrick threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Burger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. TE Connectivity team's Bo Cooper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Werner in the 19th minute of play. Bo Cooper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Werner, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Dustin Nolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Brad Werner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Dubuque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brad Werner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dustin Nolan might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo Cooper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dustin Nolan ran back to his position shaking his head. Brad Werner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to TE Connectivity team getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Charles Patrick hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Brad Werner made the kick off in the second half. TE Connectivity team's Bo Cooper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save TE Connectivity team from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Macias in the 67th minute of play forced East Dubuque's goalkeeper Claudio Kendrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Kendrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Burger in the 72nd minute of play. Virgilio Bowden's late challenge caught a East Dubuque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Cooper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Werner in the 96th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
