After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alfred Burger managed to get in a good position for a shot. TE Connectivity team's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Burger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. C.J. Palacios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sterling Woodruff came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sterling Woodruff couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sterling Woodruff made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in AIK's zone, Alfred Burger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. C.J. Palacios came out of the goal and Alfred Burger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robby Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of TE Connectivity team booed when AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Patterson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jed Knight fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK's protests and gave Jed Knight a yellow card for diving instead. TE Connectivity team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 83rd minute, Jed Knight got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TE Connectivity team's Bo Cooper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save TE Connectivity team from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, TE Connectivity team's Robby Macias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that C.J. Palacios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Robby Macias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.J. Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Burger in the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Jenkins during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AIK's Edmundo Jenkins got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind AIK's goalkeeper C.J.
