After 2 played minutes Miami Rams got a freekick which was hit by Keenan Spaulding. 7 minutes into the match, TE Connectivity team's Alfred Burger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rupert Stover narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to TE Connectivity team getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Keenan Chan hit a great ball. Darell Newman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bo Cooper made a huge save. Hal Reese's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Cooper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Alfred Burger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Stover having to interfere. When Miami Rams's Hal Reese in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TE Connectivity team's goalie prevented a goal. Robby Macias might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rupert Stover. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robby Macias ran back to his position shaking his head. If Charles Patrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alfred Burger sped through Miami Rams's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rupert Stover. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Virgilio Bowden put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rupert Stover. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hal Reese to strike the kick off in the second half. Miami Rams's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darell Newman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bo Cooper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hal Reese in the 57th minute of play. Robby Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Douglas Castillo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miami Rams's protests and gave Douglas Castillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Miami Rams got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Castillo. 66 minutes into the match, Miami Rams's goalkeeper Rupert Stover had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robby Macias. After a rather tough play, Miami Rams's Stefan Crow got a free kick in the 67th minute. Robby Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rupert Stover tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Burger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. TE Connectivity team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Burger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Miami Rams's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Burger came free, but Rupert Stover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Patrick hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Miami Rams's Hal Reese nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Cooper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Miami Rams supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching TE Connectivity team's performance. The match ended with a win for TE Connectivity team.
