North Versailles's Calvin Bowser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save North Versailles from getting a goal against them. Russell Winter might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cobi Hyde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russell Winter ran back to his position shaking his head. Daryl Cartwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobi Hyde having to interfere. If Russell Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cobi Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russell Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Daryl Cartwright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Energia Fc's Cobi Hyde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daryl Cartwright's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cobi Hyde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Cobi Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daryl Cartwright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Russell Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glen Keane during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Glen Keane kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Russell Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daryl Cartwright made a kick off. Russell Winter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Cobi Hyde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pedro Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Calvin Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calvin Bowser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Daryl Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Versailles's supporters rose to their feet, but Daryl Cartwright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cobi Hyde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daryl Cartwright struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Cobi Hyde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Versailles. Cobi Hyde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daryl Cartwright in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Energia Fc getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bart Tharp hit a great ball. Silas Roche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Calvin Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pedro Vigil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calvin Bowser was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After 91 minutes, Tanner Curtis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Versailles and the Energia Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to North Versailles getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tanner Curtis hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Energia Fc's Micah Faulkner tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Russell Winter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Versailles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Russell Winter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. North Versailles had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
