Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) East Los Angeles's Kory Singh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Russell Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Russell Winter got free with Nathan Harman in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daryl Cartwright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes, Danny Glover mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the East Los Angeles and the North Versailles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Danny Glover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in East Los Angeles's zone, Daryl Cartwright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathan Harman came out of the goal and Daryl Cartwright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Russell Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathan Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daryl Cartwright in the 16th minute of play. When North Versailles's Daryl Cartwright in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. North Versailles's Daryl Cartwright was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 30th minute, Danny Glover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathan Harman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Russell Winter in the 34th minute. When Daryl Cartwright came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the North Versailles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daryl Cartwright couldn't finish the play. When Danny Glover was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. In the 39th minute, Danny Glover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. East Los Angeles's Nathan Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daryl Cartwright in the 41st minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Daryl Cartwright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Los Angeles's Nathan Harman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th match minute, East Los Angeles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Shannon to maneuver through the defense. Daryl Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Daryl Cartwright made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Connors made a great header on North Versailles's corner, it was just that East Los Angeles's Nathan Harman managed to reach the ball for a save. When Daryl Cartwright came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the North Versailles fans jumped to their feet. East Los Angeles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrance Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glenn Brunson lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave North Versailles a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lorenzo Prescott, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of East Los Angeles's Nathan Harman. 2-0. When North Versailles's Daryl Cartwright in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nathan Harman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daryl Cartwright's shot from short distance in the 99th minute.
