Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daryl Cartwright got the match started through his kick off. When Russell Winter fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Versailles's protests and gave Russell Winter a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, North Versailles's Russell Winter got a free kick in the 2nd minute. David Hinds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Calvin Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to North Versailles getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tanner Curtis hit a great ball. David Hinds took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calvin Bowser. Calvin Bowser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Russell Winter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Domenic Yoder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to North Versailles getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Omar Kendrick hit a great ball. Calvin Bowser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Hinds in the 28th minute of the match. Russell Winter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Domenic Yoder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Tanner Curtis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Hinds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, David Hinds had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calvin Bowser. North Versailles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Hinds was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Swain made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daryl Cartwright in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domenic Yoder saved Woodstock 420 from getting behind. If Russell Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Russell Winter in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenic Yoder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tanner Curtis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Tanner Curtis kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. David Hinds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Calvin Bowser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Russell Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenic Yoder having to interfere. Del Hogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 78 minutes, Daryl Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Versailles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daryl Cartwright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes, Tomas Connors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Versailles and the Woodstock 420 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes North Versailles got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Connors. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Joseph Swain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woodstock 420's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Swain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calvin Bowser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Woodstock 420 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
