In the 8th minute, Tony Melvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yankiz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Yankiz:s Troy Medeiros showed great skill when he stopped Stacey Bryant:s penalty. Rafael Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Junior Fugate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randy Farmer's late challenge caught a Yankiz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Randy Farmer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bronx Bombers FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Randy Farmer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Yankiz's Cole Payne got a free kick in the 29th minute. Van Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Troy Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalton Bledsoe hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Van Simmons during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Bronx Bombers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Van Simmons to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Rafael Fleming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Fugate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Fleming in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Junior Fugate saved Bronx Bombers FC from getting behind. Cole Payne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Junior Fugate having to make a save. 45 minutes into the game, Rafael Fleming was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yankiz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bronx Bombers FC the free kick. Tony Melvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rafael Fleming made the kick off in the second half. Junior Fugate made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Eliseo Lord sent off a good shot on target. When Yankiz's Rafael Fleming in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bronx Bombers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Yankiz's Eliseo Lord got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yankiz's goalkeeper Troy Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Cole Payne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Melvin struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Troy Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bronx Bombers FC. Tony Melvin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Troy Medeiros having to make a save. Van Simmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Troy Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes, Yankiz's Trenton Gonzalez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Junior Fugate came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yankiz reached it. Troy Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Van Simmons in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Eliseo Lord ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Junior Fugate was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Junior Fugate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalton Bledsoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Fleming in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Junior Fugate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Yankiz booed when Bronx Bombers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randy Farmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bronx Bombers FC's Junior Fugate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Bronx Bombers FC from getting a goal against them. Yankiz's Rafael Fleming got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bronx Bombers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yankiz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
