Troy Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cole Payne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alberto Fenton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Fenton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Fleming in the 38th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Fleming to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Troy Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Walter in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theo Hardy in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Troy Medeiros saved Yankiz from getting behind. In the 64th minute Theo Hardy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troy Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yankiz's Rafael Fleming was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Yankiz's Troy Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Walter in the 73rd minute of play. Cole Payne kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Troy Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Hardy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Anderson in the 81st minute of play forced Yankiz's goalkeeper Troy Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Yankiz's Cole Payne got a free kick in the 81st minute. Yankiz's Bret Honeycutt suffered a concussion in the 83rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Saul Walter's late challenge caught a Yankiz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Walter helped the player get up and apologised. Saul Walter kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Yankiz's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Walter came free, but Troy Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Cole Payne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Dalton Bledsoe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Fenton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Fenton was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Dalton Bledsoe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalton Bledsoe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Yankiz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
