The crowd rose to their feet as East Los Angeles's Danny Glover slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cobi Hyde. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 9 minutes into the match, East Los Angeles's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Roche came free, but Nathan Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Los Angeles's goalkeeper Nathan Harman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Energia Fc's Cobi Hyde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Energia Fc from getting a goal against them. Silas Roche struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Nathan Harman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Energia Fc. Nathan Harman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Silas Roche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Edward Thorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31stth minute of the game Silas Roche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Los Angeles's Nathan Harman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roosevelt Park hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Silas Roche made a precise shot to the right of Nathan Harman. East Los Angeles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Silas Roche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nathan Harman. East Los Angeles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silas Roche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The East Los Angeles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Energia Fc were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kory Singh to make the kick off. Kory Singh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Energia Fc's Silas Roche in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Los Angeles's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th minute Kory Singh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cobi Hyde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Silas Roche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Vigil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Nathan Harman made a huge save. After having played for 72 minutes, Terrance Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Los Angeles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrance Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Silas Roche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Los Angeles's goalkeeper Nathan Harman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Micah Faulkner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nathan Harman. East Los Angeles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silas Roche succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Silas Roche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Harman having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Energia Fc's Pedro Vigil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathan Harman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Energia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Kory Singh came free, but Cobi Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Energia Fc's Silas Roche ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nathan Harman. Nathan Harman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Energia Fc walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
