With his leg Domenic Yoder managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Energia Fc's Pedro Vigil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Woodstock 420 booed when Energia Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobi Stoddard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute David Hinds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cobi Hyde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Energia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Roche to maneuver through the defense. If Joseph Swain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Woodstock 420's Domenic Yoder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Woodstock 420 from getting a goal against them. Silas Roche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Domenic Yoder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Energia Fc's Silas Roche got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pedro Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flint Horner fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodstock 420's protests and gave Flint Horner a yellow card for diving instead. Flint Horner hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Vigil got free with Domenic Yoder in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 52 minutes, Pedro Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Energia Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glen Keane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Domenic Yoder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Bruce Khan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Energia Fc's Cobi Hyde got control of the ball when Joseph Swain tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, David Hinds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodstock 420's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Hinds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Energia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Swain came free, but Cobi Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Woodstock 420 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickie Banning to maneuver through the defense. Domenic Yoder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Roche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenic Yoder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Roche in the 83rd minute of the match. Pedro Vigil's late challenge caught a Woodstock 420's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Vigil helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Energia Fc's Pedro Vigil got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cobi Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Hinds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
