Lucien Clinton started the match with the kick off. After having played for 11 minutes, Russ Engel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rancho Cordova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Russ Engel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mckinley Ladner kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Lucien Clinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charles Samuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ Engel in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Lucien Clinton made a precise shot to the right of Charles Samuel. AJAX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Norberto Kyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Darby, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Gregory Croft notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AJAX's Charles Samuel. Charles Samuel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Russ Engel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Charles Samuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Russ Engel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Samuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucien Clinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The AJAX players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rancho Cordova FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddy Darby made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Sol Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd match minute, Rancho Cordova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolland Arnold to maneuver through the defense. When AJAX's Julio Coulter in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rancho Cordova FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Clinton in the 57th minute of play forced AJAX's goalkeeper Charles Samuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddy Darby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Kyle having to interfere. Lucien Clinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Charles Samuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AJAX's Charles Samuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save AJAX from getting a goal against them. Charles Samuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolland Arnold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucien Clinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Charles Samuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Coulter might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Kyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Coulter ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Coulter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rancho Cordova FC played a much better game than AJAX and deserved their victory. The AJAX players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
