Spectators: 6922 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murray Gibson took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Flagstaff booed when Manvel Argentina Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sterling Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reyes Bernard hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Murray Gibson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rainey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kermit Regan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flagstaff's Simon Rainey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sterling Lawrence in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Sterling Lawrence cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Simon Rainey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kermit Regan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirk Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kirk Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flagstaff's supporters rose to their feet, but Kirk Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spencer Zamora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarod Preston hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Kirk Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flagstaff's supporters rose to their feet, but Kirk Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spencer Zamora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flagstaff's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reyes Bernard in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Reyes Bernard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Spencer Zamora quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kirk Miranda got free with Spencer Zamora in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, Berry Russo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Simon Rainey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, Kermit Regan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Spencer Zamora, passed just outside the right post. Flagstaff's Kermit Regan got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flagstaff players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manvel Argentina Soccer.
