Spectators: 7678 (Terracing: 5838, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 50) After a rather tough play, Memphis United FC's Colby Hood got a free kick in the 5th minute. Memphis United FC were furious when Nathan Petersen was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Corbin in the 18th minute of play forced Memphis United FC's goalkeeper Blake Waite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Oren Cooley got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kurt Mann was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 25 minutes of play, Memphis United FC's Oren Cooley made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Mann was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Colby Hood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Derrick Askew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derrick Askew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Mann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mickey Rowland in the 35th minute. Colby Hood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Mann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oren Cooley made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Memphis United FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Eddy. Blake Waite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rashad Albright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cypress Gardens FC defense, Derrick Askew kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Mann. The Cypress Gardens FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Mann should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Cypress Gardens FC's Rashad Albright ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blake Waite. Blake Waite yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Memphis United FC's Blake Waite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Memphis United FC from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Memphis United FC's goalkeeper Blake Waite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurence Corbin. In the 78th minute Oren Cooley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mickey Rowland charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickey Rowland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Mickey Rowland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes Memphis United FC got a freekick which was hit by Truman Yeager. Truman Yeager might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Mann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Truman Yeager ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 86 minutes, Mickey Rowland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mickey Rowland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Mann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oren Cooley in the 88th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Cypress Gardens FC got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Reeder. After having played for 91 minutes, Laurence Corbin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cypress Gardens FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurence Corbin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Oren Cooley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Reggie James ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Mann was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Memphis United FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
