Benny Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Orr having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Concond United's goalkeeper Sam Orr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodger Mendoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Concond United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heriberto Corey to maneuver through the defense. Texas FC's Asher Luther got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Concond United's Terrance Wolf got a free kick in the 17th minute. Merrill Underwood charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merrill Underwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Texas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merrill Underwood to maneuver through the defense. Asher Luther struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sam Orr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Texas FC. Sherwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Louie Michaud dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of J.C. Sherwood, 1-0. Sam Orr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodger Mendoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Asher Luther left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Texas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Concond United's Sam Orr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asher Luther in the 37th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A hard shot 75 in the game by Asher Luther from a close distance when the talented Sam Orr managed to make a qualified save. Concond United's players were relieved. Sam Orr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodger Mendoza in the 77th minute of the match.
