After a rather tough play, Concond United's Heriberto Corey got a free kick in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Wiley Shepard put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sam Orr. Mervin Beatty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Wilkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiley Shepard in the 24th minute of play forced Concond United's goalkeeper Sam Orr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theo Cerna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ace Green having to make a save. In the 36th minute, Mervin Beatty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ace Green was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 40th minute Mervin Beatty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ace Green saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ace Green made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Cerna in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Concond United's Mervin Beatty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ace Green made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiley Shepard was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Concond United's Terrance Wolf got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sam Orr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Wilkins in the 65th minute of the match. Mervin Beatty might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ace Green. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mervin Beatty ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terrance Wolf got free with Ace Green in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 played minutes Galt AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Koehler. 89 minutes in the game, Theo Cerna dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Concond United's Theo Cerna got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Concond United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
